尼泊爾又遭強震襲擊！尼泊爾東北部12日中午發生規模7.3強震，儘管這次地震較4月25日7.8強震，震源深度較深，但仍造成不小災情，尼泊爾已知至少48人喪生，上千人受傷。另外，鄰國印度有17人死亡，中國西藏有1人喪命。
印度中國也有傷亡
美國地質調查所（USGS）指出，地震發生在當地時間中午12時35分（台灣時間下午2時50分），震央位於南岐巴札鎮（Namche Bazar）以西68公里處，靠近聖母峰及西藏邊境，震源深度18.5公里。
尼泊爾不到三周前才發生7.8強震，造成至少8046人喪生、1萬7800人受傷。上次7.8強震屬淺層地震，震源深度僅15公里，這次地震震源深度較深，災情相對較小。不過，之後仍發生6次規模5.0以上的餘震，首都加德滿都機場一度關閉。
強震來襲時，瞬間天搖地動。加德滿都居民史芮斯莎驚魂甫定地說：「這次地震跟上次一樣搖晃，但時間沒那麼長，我簡直被嚇壞了。」
天搖地動像在坐船
聯合國兒童基金會駐當地官員佛利說：「地震持續搖晃不斷，感覺好像跟坐船一樣。」
官員說，上月大地震侵襲尼泊爾，許多建築物本已搖搖欲墜，這次又來大地震，許多屋舍不支垮毀，部分地區也爆發土石流，各地陸續傳出災情。在接近震央的多拉克哈區有6人死亡，另有3人受困倒榻房屋內，搜救人員正努力搶救。
尼國政府疲於奔命
尼泊爾總理寇瑞拉在召開緊急內閣會議後表示：「面臨這樣的天然災害，我們必須維持勇氣和耐性。」尼國政府先前便坦承，上次強震災情相當慘重，早就令其招架不了。
在加德滿都東部的辛度帕爾喬克區，挪威紅十字會在首府朝塔拉鎮設有60個床位的醫院，他們在地震後推文說，醫院已有多人前來就醫，「許多人受傷，多人死亡」。上月大地震重創尼泊爾，辛度帕爾喬克是全國死亡人數最多的地區。
尼泊爾鄰國也傳出傷亡。印度內政部說，這次強震已造成印度17人死亡，其中16人出身比哈省，另有39人受傷。此外，中國西藏有1人因落石擊中汽車喪命。
